As Financial Controller, Dave plays a role in ensuring our resources are managed responsibly and transparently. When he’s not gleefully perusing spreadsheets, he can be found devoting perhaps too much attention to his beloved dog, Betty - who is, by all accounts, The Sweetest Girl.
Amanda Lawrence
Music & Communications Coordinator
Amanda loves the liturgy of Anglican worship and joyfully leads the music teams at Christ Church. She also helps to manage the ongoing communication needs of the parish. A lifelong Grand Rapidian, Amanda has spent many years serving in church music ministry and participating in the ongoing worship of the saints. She is married to Joel; together they love spending time with their three kids: James, Sophie and Samuel. She is more-than-slightly obsessed with collecting cookbooks, trying out new recipes, attempting to make sourdough, and reading too many books at once.
Ben is the Associate Rector at Christ Church Anglican. While originally from the Chicagoland area, he’s delighted to have become a Michigander, and loves to call Grand Rapids home. He is married to Ann, and they have two children, Reuben and Abby. First ordained in the Reformed Church in America, Ben brings over a decade of pastoral ministry experience to the team at CCA. Currently, Ben is a Deacon preparing for ordination to the Priesthood in the ACNA. He is passionate about wine, art, and the Prayer Book.

Jess Roberts
Jess has over two decades of experience in early childhood education and children's discipleship. Throughout her life and ministry, she has lived in various places, including Northern and Southern California, Washington State, and Hawaii, where she met her husband, Ryan. Now residing in Michigan, she takes great joy in raising their three children, Cora, Phineas, and Maeve, as "Michiganders." Jess was the creator of our children's formation classes at the beginning of CCA and is passionate about guiding families through the liturgical year and promoting intergenerational worship.
Fr. Kris is the rector and church planter of Christ Church. He is a native Grand Rapidian and loves the city dearly. He is married to Emily and is a joyful dad to Luke and Levi. Before becoming a priest, Fr. Kris worked in higher education and Christian publishing. Fr. Kris loves to read, ride motorcycles, backpack, and anything to do with the Detroit Lions. He is currently pursuing a doctoral program at Nashotah House Theological Seminary.
