Ministry at Christ Church

At Christ Church Anglican GR, we believe Christian formation is the lifelong journey and process of being shaped by the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Christ, guided by Scripture, tradition, wisdom (reason), and prayer within the community of Christ’s body. Here are the following formation pathways offered at Christ Church.

Formation

Two boys playing outside near a small inflatable pool, one boy wearing a navy shirt appearing excited.

We believe that our children and our youth are full participants in the Body of Christ. This means we look to include our children and youth in every aspect of our communal life rather than separating them to their own groups and gatherings.

Children’s Formation

We also recognize the importance of formation that is age specific. To that end, we also offer age-specific formation times for our children and youth.

  • For children between two and eight years old, we have Children’s Formation classes on Sunday mornings.

  • Every fourth Sunday of the month, we have a formation class for students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.

Youth Formation

Our heart for youth at CCA is to journey with them as they discover their identity in Christ, their belonging in the Body of Christ and the world, and where to find the true source of stability and security toward becoming the persons for whom God has called them to be and serve in the world.

We also adhere to and commit to have all volunteers and leaders Ministry Safe informed and certified.
